A bit too cool for its own good in my opinion. All that jumping around started to annoy me.

If I get the DVD and edit it into chronological order, would that help?

I think I know what you mean, not sure how much it'd stand out for me if it was linear though.

    • Not sure it would, as that it's 'thing'. If it was in chronological order it'd prove that there wasn't really much of a story.

    • I saw District 9 earlier in the week - I thought it was brilliant.

Also saw The Damned United, (new) Star Trek and Public Enemies, all very good except the last which was disappointing.

Now just started re-watching my newly acquired Twin Peaks box set and some cricket and Liverpool FC DVDs. Rock.

I absolutely loved it. I hope they don't make a sequel as it ended perfectly.
I have read that the main guy, Wickus, is to be Murdoch in the A Team film.

Yup. With Bradley Cooper as Face, some UFC type guy as BA Barracas, and Liam Neeson as Hannibal. This along with The Expendables makes me think (hopefully) it's gonna be a good year for action films!!

Oh, and Scott Pilgrim's out this year, which I'm cautiously excited about.

    • District 13 - not to be confused with District 9, this has less aliens, less plot and a lot more crazy free running stunts.
Tropic Thunder - not seen it before, highly entertaining.
      The Hangover - likewise.

    • I enjoyed 500 Days... a bit, but not a massive amount. I'm not sure but were they trying to sell the idea of a mashed up narrative as a novelty cos...erm....no.

I saw Where The Wild Things Are yesterday. It had some truly lovely moments and overall I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't use the word amazing or anything.

Been watching the first series of Being Human again to freshen up ready for the new series that starts on Sunday. Quite excited actually.

Also, Breaking Bad, which stars the dad from Malcolm in the Middle as a teacher who gets diagnosed with cancer and starts cooking and selling crystal meth to make money for his family. Yes, indeed.

Not too hilarious, but very very silly!

    • I love the Hal character almost as much as I love Lois. Possibly my favourite TV couple of all time.

I've been watching some bizarre but addictive reality show about a fat camp comparing different historical diet and exercise regimes. So far, the Edwardians are winning.

    • I've started watching Breaking Bad, it's pretty good. Also re-watching all of Battlestar Galactica after splashing out on the complete DVD boxset just before christmas. Currently on the third DVD of 25, so quite a while to go :)
