i went on a detour this morning to the bank of england. loads of fuzz all over the place and the odd helicopter. more news crews than anything else though. a bunch of places were boarded up too.

I walk to work from London Bridge - but as it was a couple of hours before the hippies were up and about I had the streets to myself.

Ben Brown said there was an "increasingly ugly mood" in Threadneedle Street after some protesters smashed RBS windows and others entered the building and made their way on to the roof.
