March purchases

    • I went to Edinburgh last weekend, found a second hand music shop and bought...

The Horror - Spoils of War (£3)
Lowrider - Diamond Amongst the Thieves (£2)

I didn't even realise Lowrider were still going.

I am currently in Manchester and yesterday saw a Josiah album I hadn't heard of before and also a Roadsaw/Blackrock split CD for a fiver each. I didn't pick them up because I'm trying to watch the pennies, but considering going getting one/both on the way back later this morning.

    • Is the Josiah one called 'Procession', if it is that one came out a while ago and it's rarities etc, good stuff
    • PetePete
    • That's it yeah. Look like I'll have to miss out as am heading straight to train station in a short while.

I'll be buying the DVD of the 2010/11 Ashes, if it's out yet, on my return to Sheffield (and watch it pretending the game yesterday was a bad dream).

    • I finally bought the DVD box set of Alejandro Jodorowsky's films. Totally nuts but fucking great. £19 ppd from Amazon marketplace seemed a pretty good deal.

Tidy new Alunah shirt too from the Fu Manchu gig for a recession-friendly £5.

And some rather poncey but very tasty olive and oregano bread.

    • Just bought a planter thingy, a 'propagator' to get the seedlings going and obviously some seeds to plant.

Red Chillis and Coriander to start with. Nice!

      And The Who

All noted! Not a Who fan, but I can't deny he was a quality bassist.

I think Geezer goes without saying.

    • And Lemmy of course.

Probably best to avoid listening to Rush, you'll only want to give up.
