Bands you'd like to see in Sheffield.

    • I have a plan, let me know any bands of the weirder end of things you'd like to see, away from stoner rock this one as I don't want to over-egg the healthy 9hz and Team Tall shows happening soon.

I'd love to get them but I reckon they may well be silly money!

You are on my list already though Wez, about time you got a proper Sheff gig!

    • I'd love to see Beehoover again, they're weird

    • Fuck Buttons are bad techno live and I say that with respect.

I'd love to see that happen, I'm sure they'll be over soon too.

    • Staying with the 'fuck' theme I reckon you should look into Holy Fuck. Maybe get them to double headline with Fuck Buttons.

Wildildlife would be fookin amazing. But they might be hard to get.

Guapo are still the best live band I've seen in a long time.

Shit & Shine / Todd would be killer and I don't reckon they'd charge too much. Get one of them to do a bill with Part Chimp or The Notorious Hifi Killers. That'd be cool.

If you're looking for big fast mosh chug riffery then you can't go wrong with a bit of Yorkshire talent in the form of Reth or Executive Distraction Task

On that same thread Monster Killed by Laser are fucking gods!

You Slut in a similarish vein of proggy goodness.

Modified Toy Orchestra are cool, I think they're also doing a side-project called ZX-Spectrum Orchestra (self-explanatory - Birmingham based)

And you should get Celebrity Love Crisis down all the time...natch. My brain hurts now.

I'm sure there are loads more.

    • Guapo's new album is breathtaking.

Any SD bands - so Monster Killed By Laser naturally. ;)

Not to hijack the thread, but Karysun are touring the UK late this year. If Ninehertz, Mike and/or Team Tall wish to put them on with anyone, give me a PM. First Contact Booking is doing the tour but I can deffo get you in touch. It's getting booked now, so let me know ASAP!
    • mikemike
    • I'd be interested in Karysun!

Great list Nathan! I'll have a think, got a list in my head, might have to do a few gigs.

    • Would anyone be interested in booking Kayo Dot?
    • mikemike
    • I'd love to do a Kayo Dot show, are you not doing one Slomo? They'd be a draw.

I'd be attending for sure if they are. Floored me at that 9hz gig.

EDT, insanely good... and short. Weird bands ain't my specialty.
