     For original music I'd have to say-
     
     Mario Brothers
     Sonic the Hedgehog
     Tetris
     Metal Gear Solid (all 4 so far are amazing for music)
     
     Ones that use artists music-
     GTA series (and the first few had made up music that was pretty sweet too)
     Wipeout 2097
     Crazy Taxi

    • Street Fighter 2 music was perfect for the game.
      My housemate bought the soundtrack to the game about 6 years ago and it got heavy rotation in the house , it even started to seep into my daily life , e.g. walking for the bus in the morning it'd be playing in my head then start to speed up as the bus drew nearer to the stop and I'd have to pick up my pace to catch it or trying to get to the counter in Greggs before the old lady etc..
      Another fun thing to do was to see who could memorize then reel off all the countries from the game in an authentic voice '' CHINA ! '' '' JAPAAAN! ''
