LMS was VERY funny. A definate recommend from me.

You are wrong sir, there are in fact only 2 funny parts to that movie.
When they have to get the body out of the morgue out the window and the very ending.

The Orphanage Carey. I told you this already.

You were in bed when I watched it. I was all alone.

I watched 'The Devil Wears Prada' - not even bothering to give a review - and 'Atonement', which looked nice but managed to leave me cold.

The Orphange is very creepy. Rec's good as well.

      Orpahanage was balls. Dull squared.

      Wrong.

Little Miss Sunshine is ace. A little bit try hard quirky perhaps but charming none the less.

This is exactly why I hated Juno. Little Miss Sunshine is wayyyy better.

    • The Wrestler

Kept me occupied on a miserable Saturday night.

    • I might go and see a film today, there seems to be quite a few I actually want to see, The Wrestler, The Reader, Seven Pounds, Australia.

I finally got round to watching Dead Man's Shoes last night, it was just amazing.

    • The 2 newest episodes of My Name Is Earl, back on form!
    • mambamamba
    • Just watched Slumdog Millionnaire.

Good but not as great as the reviews/awards led me to believe.

    • Just went to see Seven Pounds, very very good, very very sad.
    • JenTheHenJenTheHen
    • Seven Pounds plot was outlined to me today.

      It sounds FUCKING AWFUL.

Still, getting me to watch any film with Will "God" Smith in it would be a chore and a half so I'll probably never find out.

Just watched 'Happy Go Lucky'. I'm still formulating an opinion but my immediate response is positive.
    • mikemike
    • Yeah if I'd known the plot I would have been put off but it was very well done, loved it.

    • I've been "aquiring" lots of hi-def films to watch on my tv seeing as I got my media PC up and running so the last few nights consisted of:
Yes Man - Funny in places
How to loose friends and alienate people - Simon Pegg I love you but you keep making dogs :(
Ghosttown - This was quite good actually, Ricky Gervaise was the only person who could have made that movie good and he did.

Also when I climbed into bed last night Enemy at the Gates was on so I watched it for like the 100th time. Still brilliant.

Tonight is Tropic Thunder. I've got RockaRolla (thought I'd give it a watch), Deathrace (remake, lets see how it turns out), Defiance (I love WW2 Dramas me), Ghost in the Shell 2.0 (original with added CG in places and revoiced apperently, but its in Japanese lol), Resident Evil: Degeneration (wanted to sheck out the CG), Saving Private Ryan (wonder what the blood looks like in Hi-Def), Bourne Trilogy (been waiting to watch them all in one go), Saw 5 (seen the rest, might aswell see the last), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (more for Fran that one) and Twighlight (wanna see what all the fuss is about which means i'll probably hate it) to watch.
Gonna be a long week :D

I need to watch some ..Earl, only ever seen one, or two episodes.

Last night i watched No Country For Old Men. Thought it was pretty good.

I also, today, watched some Battlestar G. Not seen any since well before xmas so needed to familiarise myself with where i'd got to, i'm about 4 episodes from the end of season 3.

    • Watched the first episode of the last load of BSG last night, very good. Very dark and a bit of a downer, but it wouldn't be BSG without some depression now would it? :)

I'm downloading it before anyone spoils it for me but it's taking aaages.

    • I'll buy it in about 3 years probably. I'm trying to avoid any adverts for Lost or BSG so nothing gets spoilt as i'm a fair way behind.

I was thinking about getting Carnivale on dvd, i saw the first series and most of the 2nd one, not sure what's happened with it since then though.

    • I watched Cinderella Man last night.

I knew what was gonna happen though...
