   • Oh I don't know, not much.
     
     Is anyone excited its XMAS on thursday? Its completely crept up on me, feels slightly festive at work but we're so busy its not really registered!
     
     I have all my presents bought so this weekend is relax, maybe go out in town tomorrow and generally chill before the mental week, we have just 2 days to put together a paper that takes a week to do normally, then Xmas and then parents for that weekend, repeat mental work pattern for the new years issue!

    • I'm bored with christmas now, too much work, too many christmas songs repeated too many times, and not much else. I've just done 5 shifts straight and i'm dying for a day off to break things up but i've got two more to do, it was good to have 4 nights off last weekend, but now i'm suffering. I'm not being worked to death but the repetition is getting to me now.

      Thurs: wake up way too early for 24 years old, open presents, then mum and sister over for lunch, fail at cooking, watch Wallace and Gromit, TOTP and Eastenders.
      Fri: go to aunt's in Bournemouth, force Vida to meet relatives, get away with not having to drive
      Sat: laze about and eat
      Sun: ditto, perchance a walk

      saturday- Play gig in High Wycombe with veee deee drummer Tom so looking forward to that.

      xmas day - wear wizard's hat and open pressies and ruin everyone's day by being drunk and fucking lairy, but seeing as i'm more manly than everyone, no one will argue.
      
      boxxxing day - wear flat cap and challenge christina's dad and brother to a bareknuckle boxing match. read some book, and finally begin linguaphone ARABIC course! mehaba! etc!!!!!
      
      27th - ARABIC
      
      28th - ARABIC, go back to UK!!!
      
      29th - get to the rock, see mum and estranged father for first time in 08! give chutney
      
      30th - leave rock, get back to london.
      
      31st - make pizza, scoff pizza
      
      1st - johnathan creek special
      
      2nd - sales for espresso machine and new snowboard boots and electric upright bass
      
      3rd - sales
      
      4th - wonder why ski sunday isn't on
      
      5th - work!

      Lemon Tree. It's about a woman who fights to save her lemon grove when the Palestinian Defence Minister moves in next door to her and orders it (her only source of income) be cut down to protect his security.
      
      It was a pleasantly impartial and unsentimental jaunt.
