- I bought Fran some funky ice cube trays (skull and crossbones and guitar ones), some mon-keys (monkey heads that sit around the top of your keys to "protect" them), a funky glass vase, a funky red glass/gold plate, a couple of funky red tea light holders, a foot spa, a gift box from Lush and a really expensive card (I fucking hate buying cards but I just thought fuck it, she'll yell at me if I dont get her one)
  All this from Medaowhall, result. This is gonna be her best birthday EVER!
  If it turns out she doesnt like all this stuff though I am gonna be gutted cos I spent a fortune.
  I nearly didnt make it out the carpark cos my car wouldn't start properly but got it sorted in the end. Thank fuck.

  No-one I know seems thrilled about the idea. Or rather a few people have expressed interest but probably won't think about buying tickets til after it's sold out.

  I went to that gig. Never really been a fan (went with someone who is) but, I thought they were really good. Loads of energy and stage prescence. A few cracking tunes too.
