    • I recently bought a 25watt Biobulb from ebay, cost about 12 notes, or coins as it's been since 1983. I needed more artifical light in my room and in wanting something to give what used to be 100w in old bulbs, thought that the biobulb sounded a worthwhile purchase, it's supposed to make people feel happier as it's more like natural sunlight (sumat called S.A.D. is mentioned on the listing ).
      
      I'd say it works, it's miles brighter than the phillips 11w i've had in (i know i could have just bought a brighter philips), but my room now feels more cooler and fresher, like minty fresh breath.
      
      All i need now is a new shade as the bulb is too long for the existing one, but it's all discoloured anyway.

      Amen. I spent hours in Meadowhall failing to spend £60 of money that wasn't mine. I spunked it all in the last half hour on the usual multimedia goodies and a Camelbak water bottle for when I go biking.
