     Last night - Gig, got horiffically drunk as I didn't have time for tea, was sick when I got in. Nom nom nom.
     
     Today - day off. Sit about the house in the nude doing ABSOLUTELY nothing but feeling very pleased with myself indeed
     
     Weekend - working all weekend, not getting laid like last weekend, which was undoubtedly a much better weekend than this one will be.
     
     Watching Dexter and eating curry and buying Hokaben tickets will feature so all is not lost.

      Gig was a bit quiet last night but still fun! Podge seemed annoyed with their set but i well enjoyed it outside apart from the end of the set, thought Pupilar was a nice distraction and the projections were great, especially for our set, think we're investing in a projector sharpish.

      
      
      i gotta say Pupilar did nothing for me. he could as well just burned some audio to the dvd and had the whole lot running off his laptop. i don't mine ambient stuff but its nice to see something happening.
      
      our set was shit, Tom was having issues with his equipment which meant i couldn't hear anything he was playing and i cant count to 6. it was frankly the worst gig i have ever played, even worse than the Mong album launch, at least i was stupidly drunk there.

      I missed pupilar, didn't get in the shower til 8, so i finally got to the gig at 9. Just in time to see you guys, i did like what i heard, but then i don't have a trained ear so wouldn't know if it was rubbish, plus i've not see ya before. Loved stand-up guy, their music appears a lot slower live than when i'm listening to the album, maybe that's cos i was able to watch them playing their stuff. Loved the flatlands stuff, again, and the visuals were miles better than red sparowes, oh argh!
      
      Edit (again): today i'm not at work, gonna eat some food shortly as my insides are trying to tell me something, check my suit is fine, sort me fantasy footy team out for tomorrow and generally not do a great deal.
      
      tomorrow: going to a relatives wedding, so that should be fun. He's one of them who you'd never think would get married - like me, but i think now his brother has gotten wed he's finally decided to make the move, brotherly rivalry et all.
      
      sunday i'm working now, was off but to help them out i've agreed to work which means i can have a tuesday off in a couple of weeks went i'm going to attempt to win another small fortune at the casino.

    • our cat's returned from the vet's today, took it to the vets on tuesday as he'd been scratching his ears and made them bleed, so thought we'll see what they say. They game him some drops as they thought i may be wax that's built up. Being a cat that never goes out of the house and is scared to death of most things, for instance being alone in the dark, he has literally scared himself almost to death due to the visit to the vets.
      
      Since the visit to the vets he's had one contracted pupil and one larger than normal, he also completely went off his food and went two days without eating or drinking anything and kept losing his balance when he walked.
      
      Thursday morning his eyes were going left to right at a very quick rate constantly so we took him back to the vets and results confirm that he's had a stroke. They kept him at the vets from yesterday until this afternoon, gave him a drip and tried to calm him down and now his eyes have returned to normal, but he's very wobbly when he walks and now looks weak. With how he was yesterday i thought he'd given up.

    • It does however look like Sandy will be with us for not much longer, he has still te eat anything since returning from the vets, it looks like he just refuses, so we expect him to just waste away. Can't really do anything about the situation, i suppose. He's 13 years old so he's had a good innings, it's more losing his mum a few months back and now we're going though it again, i do wonder if losing his mum has affected him more than was showing, or if he has had something wrong for a while, that would go someway to explaining why he's been so restless at night for ages.

      I've yet to see Rachmanite live. Fucking typical , I don't get to go to a gig because of work for months then I miss this but went to the one on Tuesday at The Shakespeare which was, in all honesty , a complete pile of donkey shit from start to finish.
      Heres to a full weekend of work for me yayyyyyy!
