      James Blackshaw is good

I'm listening to The Hellacopters- Head Off

Gravetard- oops! That's not a bad name for a band actually.
Blackshaw is a master of the 12 string.

Mother Corona - Out of the Dust (this is very good)

Really want to hear this. Played with them in Oxford last summer and they were excellent. Despite being pissed they played a superb set.

    • Electric Wizard, a general reappraisal. Anyone else much prefer the Buckingham years, We Live obviously excluded? Dopethrone and Fanatics still do it for me, but the first album just sounds a bit too stoner-rock this far down the line. Looking forward to the new one, if the 7'' is owt to go by.

I didn't know what to expect but it fucking slays, a great new direction on a classic stoner template. Review for the Shaman coming soon (sorry Mike).

I've been listening to dickloads of Saviours and Gurt over the last two days and very little else.
