     seen 3, not overly great but still better than most of what's on tv. bought 4 yesterday and that's supposed to be better so we'll see.
     
     2 has moments of genius but it's less immediately accessible and feels forced in places.

     I enjoyed 1 but it wasn't the best thing on TV like everyone says. There should be more decent sci-fi around like Firefly or Battlestar.

     i enjoyed firefly but the characters in the wire were far more engaging and well thought out.

     Firefly was slightly less serious. It's different kind of entertaining I guess. I think Battlestar sits between the 2 but I know you're not a fan.

     firefly was also a victim of american tv company demands, i know it's not as well thought out as it was intended to be. i just think that as a finished product the wire stands up to most modern novels and you can't say that about much tv.
