     The stock model is apparently identical to an Epiphone Valve Junior but with a tone control and is 2/3 the price.

      I was going to get one of those until I read that bit that said you had to wind it up for 2 minutes for 10 minutes of talk time. Battery one sounded like the better option.

      There's at least 5 Argos's's's in Nottingham. There must be more than one near you. Check their reserve online service thingy to see where the nearest store is with one in stock.
