Yes, actual sick. It went very well, at first. Then it went slightly wrong, but the experience was good fun.

plus.... i've never been to the dark peak before... let alone to bury anyone.

      ;)

aww, poor g. i'm looking forward to hearing more about this in a less public arena though.

Not much to tell, tho my mum comes on here so I'm reluctant to tell all.
      Nothing too controvrsial.

Steve and I got baked and ripped up some unknown coutryside near Gainsborough by automobile and foot (and sickeningly harsh ropeswing) on Saturday. Good times.

    • Had a pretty good weekend all round.

On Saturday I went to 1998 (otherwise known as the Agincourt in Camberley).

On Sunday I went out for a nice Thai meal.

And yesterday I went for an afternoon of metal with Battlewitch.

    • I found it quite amusing, but I certainly wouldn't want to make it a regular event. Only went because Skindred were playing and had guesties.

    • i went to the london aquarium on saturday, which was awesome as i loves the fish and the sea.

indiana jones movie on sunday was ok, but a bit schmaltzy.

rounded off by a trip to the imperial war museum on monday. the tanks were cool. everything else was interesting but pretty heavy going in some bits.

fairly good weekend, padded out by listening to whitesnake, defragmenting my hard drive and doing online shopping.

weather was shite. when it gets nice, i'm taking my longboard to brighton and trekking along the promenade.

I really wanna go there again.
Whats the "special" exhibition they have on at the moment? It was the trenches and a holocaust thing last time I went about 6-7 years ago.
Jeez 6-7 years, I cant believe its that long :(

    • worra bitch weekend,
Friday - Morn - load in for Thriller (michael jackson tribute), eve - Cineworld till 1.30
Saturday - Pottering, Saw The Outpost, Load out for Thriller,
Sunday - Cineworld till 10.30, bed by 11.30 for
Monday - Up at 3 am to travel to Oxfordshire to do load out for gatecrasher festival. & what a farse it was too. when we got there we were told to avoid the Main stage as the wind was blowing it over, anything next to or near it was condemned. the final main acts didnt even play it on sunday. So we worked on the smaller tents around it, only to get called off the site 3 hours later because one of gthe tents got blown over with the "force 9 gusts"? we were having. along side the 45 degree rain & freezing cold weather. Most of my day was spent waiting around. we then got taken out of the catering "safety" tent because that was about to fall.
Oh well, least I got paid. Seems to me that Gatecrasher is having a very bad year.

they have loads...there's a james bond exhibition on that costs £8. we didn't go to that as we is tightarses and everything else is free.

they have something called childrens' war which is about how wwII affected the chidders. went to that...it's done really well...very long. they still have the trenches but didn't have time for that. holocaust exhibition is still on too.

    • Cool, I'll head down to our fair capital again some day. Ganna be quite the journey.

We just had an hour and a half powercut and if aliens existed, they'd be on their way now thanks to the sound of all the fucking alarms going off to 2 hours strait.

Jude is planning to buy a new longboard, we could form a gang

I went to Cornwall, on saturday i nearly knocked myself out falling off my bike despite wearing a full face helmet. On sunday i went to a pool party but no one went in the pool, I did however create treats from bourbons and quality street that glued my mouth together

ace! seriously...i've got to find some fucking hills soon. wimbledon is ridiculously shit for boarding. mine is too wobbly to fishbone curbs and my wheels are way too soft for sliding. i'm in it for the tucking and carving. promenades on beaches on sunny days would be ideal for some mellow carvery.

i want to do nice on the riviera by moonlight. that would be killer. flat but killer.

brighton seems ok, sheringham in norfolk would be good as there are plenty of ups and downs. gonna check out some seafronts!

your treats sound pretty awesome. i once but fry's turkish delight and ice cream in a blender which was also pretty awesome.

    • I've had a pretty busy weekend, watched all the play off finals, was delighted leeds lost... Sold some stuff on ebay including an xobx game (enter the matrix). won a fiver by beating my mate at pool 5-4. Lost £10 at poker. Went to the dogs last night only to find it was cancelled when we got there so went into sheff, decided against paying £3 to see the bands at the grapes, saw some other bands at west street live then went to casino for free curry and lost £20 on roulette.

Work is getting ridiculous, had some "help" on monday night from the slackest person on nights (even his manager admitted he's the worst) who to add insult came off his quad bike at the weekend and has actually fractured both his hands. The help was needed as the new ADM has fucked my order up by ordering a load of stuff we don't need. Basically now on our department we don't have enough man power to cover when the shop is open but they still want everything doing as normal.
