    • it's here again, and i'm now officially off work for a week and a bit. I've just cleaned my car, i'm now having a couple of cans of guinness (original guinness not the sort that explodes when it's opened), then i'm off to bed as tonight i'm hitting the town and meeting an old school mate i have found on facebook who i've not seen for years.

Tomorrow i'm aiming to go the the don valley stadium to see the mighty spireites play rotherham, then off out down chessy again to celebrate a mates 31st birthday. I'll probably spend sunday recovering.

(edit: i've also just removed this thread from the music forum and placed it in here where it belongs :))

Think the millers will win 2-1! Back of the net!

    • i've been browsing results and most of the wins the millers have had at "home" have been against poorer teams, so i reckon, gee'd on by the largest support we've had for a fair while we'll get at least a draw! I hope so anyway or there's gonna be some miserable folk in north derbyshire for our next home game. [or should i say they'll go back to being miserable]

1-1 will do niecely, or of course a win.

    • Tonight - housemate's birthday so chilling with some of his mate's at home.

Tomorrow - attempted productivity, check out the new metal night up at Seven, see how much/if they've changed it since Junktion7 closed.

I hope you don't as i've got 3 everton defenders in my fantasy footy as i seek some prize money for finishing 3rd place, i'm currently 4th 30 points behind.

Well, i've had about 3 hours sleep last night and have planned to drive to the game setting off at 1 o'clock. The small issue is that my mate text an hour since to say he's still in MK - was supposed to be coming up last night but felt shocking. At least he's keeping his word by wanting to go to the game, but i fear he's pushing things a bit, just hope there's no M1 blockages. People eh!

    • NEVER 3rd place is MINE!
I'm counting on Man U winning all their games in hand to be honest

    • different league, there's money involved in the one at work. For 1st, 2nd & 3rd places, top weekly score, and top monthly score.

I'm clearly top of the ninehertz league

    • We were the best team in the first half, Rovrum scored from pretty much their only chance of the half, then when Downes went off injured and kev austin came on for 2nd half we were 2nd best. 3-0 was a bit harsh but we didn't get a sniff in the 2nd half, plus we had a goal dissallowed for off side in the first half, and one of our players got brought down in the first half when running through on goal by the last defender, and the ref only gave a yellow card, what's the rules? I think the number of games we've played recently is catching up with our players and after a heroic performance at brentford on tuesday another tough game yesterday was too much. Chuffed that only one team in the top half won though so despite losing we're 7 points of play offs, and still have 2 games in hand.

We were going to lose sooner or later but i didn't expect 3-0, glad i went anyway as i'd not been to an away match since october, and i wanted to see how crazy watching football is at the don valley stadium.

Last night ended up going to my mates as most people were skint, so played more guitar hero, and mini pool. was cool to sing to one armed scissor, but as before i was shit on instruments due to tiredness, and lack of timing.

Difficult time of the season with backlog of games for teams. Tis crazy rotherham playing at don valley giving their small crowds!

I took a photo from where i was sat, looks shit as the players seem miles away and there's barely any supporters on the photo with only one side of the ground being in use.

Yeah, no real idea in the local press of where the new rotherham ground's gonna be built with don valley only being a temporary residence.

    • I did hear about the possible location of new training facilities, at Roughwood.

I'll be glad when we actually get our new ground up and running. Supposed to be starting building work this summer.
