     my dad was once hit in the face with a barometer during a fight. He has a trace amount of mercury and a shard of glass still trapped under his lower lip which is one of the reasons he wears a beard. true story.

     I'm just back from the Lake District. I saw FOUR octopuses at Maryport Aquarium. I think that beats the pencil museum, although I did consider going there.
     
     
     It wasn't even worth it for the novelty. I've had more fun putting cotton wool in my eyes.
