Rest of 2013

    • PetePete
    • I was just thinking about what's to come in the rest of 2013.

Album-wise, Vista Chino's Peace has just arrived through the post, and I've got the new Beehoover and Red Fang albums on pre-order.

Gig-wise, I've got Conan in Sheffield, Kadavar and then Vista Chino in Manchester, all in October, plus Black Sabbath in Sheffield near Christmas.

      Any glaring ommissions there?

    • Might pop over for Conan

Damnation and OM in leeds are the only other things I have planned

    • Oh yeah, I'd like to go to one or both of Om and Ufommamut at the Brudenell, I'll have to see.

    • How's the VC record treating you Pete?

Is it just me or has 2013 been a fairly quiet year for big exciting, name new releases?

It's growing on me. I was sceptical, but there's some good stuff on there. I need a few more runs through yet to be sure.

      Best thing since sliced dead.

Seriously though, it's album of the year material for me.

    • Live Evil @ The Garage, then self-imposed embargo as I save for moving to Manchester next summer, fingers crossed. Keen on the new Grave Miasma but might have to wait til Xmas.

Emphasis is definitely on making rather than buying music for the forseeable, recording Cultfinder's first CD release next month and all the while constructing the new Moths EP for Mike to add to over the Xmas period. Gloom or be gloomed.

    • Rob if you move to Manchester, we'll see a lot more of you!
