can't find anything (else) that catches my eye for under £500 though, most have very short road tax which means spending a further £50+ in next month or two.
That Reliant Robin looks familiar, it might have once belonged to Blaze Bayley?
or Venezuelan gold smuggler Carlos Mendez. it's a great car but the cornering is a little off. Almost like the doors are being weighed down somehow....
If my ha' penny is worth anything in this, Citroen's are a heap every time. Anna's had a saxo that seemed ok, but after buying a ford, every citroen i've driven feels tinny & cheap. From year dot my mum's picasso has had a problem every 6/7 weeks without fail.
The Saxo feel's like it'll crumple immediatly. They're so light that when it rains they just slide.
Personally, french cars suck, but citroens are the wost. I'd go for a pug over a renault or citroen, that said i've never driven a pug.
Fords, Vauxhaul or Volkswagen for run arounds, every time. Cheap, heavy build, stick to the road.
I love French cars because they feel like they are just about to fall apart, but I reckon 70's to mid 90's Fiestas are the greatest. Base model with a cassette player.
