    • I've been on youtube and bandcamp catching up with albums I've missed that have been mentioned in various end of year lists I've been reading...

      Deafheaven - Sunbather
      Big Business - Battlefields Forever
      Beastmilk - Climax

First is obviously very good, but not my thing, second is on my Christmas wish list, third a surprise but in a good way, on the whole.

    • I just listened to Gnarwolves as people keep talking about them. Don't get it. Sounds like 2005 (which sounded like the mid-90s then) to me but hey.

Pig Destroyer - Book Burner and Prowler in the Yard
      Nasum - Inhale/Exhale
Agoraphobic Nosebleed - Frozen Corpse Stuffed With Dope

And the usual jazz I listen to a lot of these days.

John Coletrane - My Favourite Things
Louis Armstrong - 3 disc 75 track compilation thing

    • The three minutes between around 2:30 mins and 5:30 mins of Denizens are absolutely incredible.

Although I swear he sings "swords are tickling" at one point in that section.
