I've recently bought a laptop (regretting that one already) and my old desktop is no longer required. It runs a bit slow but that could probs be sorted out with some new memory and the hard-drives are huge, so I'm thinking it might be worth £40 or summat to someone on ebay.
The problem - how do I wipe the hard-drive properly so that there are no cloned Midget Pete Plonker's knocking around stealing my pennies? Two of me would be too much, but we all know that.
Or is it even worth bothering? Should I just destroy it and send to the tip?
I've tried using a program called "Eraser" but I'm not sure what I'm doing really.
