   • Just been listening to the Rise Above sampler with this month's Classic Rock. I assumed Ghost would be some shitty doom band but, apart from the nasty guitar sound I was pleasantly surprised...kind of like Blue Oyster Cult jamming with Mercyful Fate. New Blood Ceremony sounds cool, Gents Pistols are kicking arse but Electric Wizard...why do people rave about them? Do they not listen to their records before they release them and realise how shitty they sound?
